Events

This group of volunteers assists with events.

Events are a way to raise money while educating the community about Buddies Not Bullies and its mission.

Buddies Not Bullies is a non-profit agency which relies on donations and grants.

Some events may include: fundraisers, open houses, and community outreach.

Fundraising Volunteers

  • Assist with fundraising duties

  • Participate in special event committees

  • Request goods and materials for events

  • Assist with the set up and tear down of fundraising events.

    • Yearly agency fundraiser is usually at the end of January

On-Site Event Volunteers

  • Set up, clean up, work the event, and take down various special events.

  • Events we have participated in:

    • CASA Family Fun Day

    • YMCA Color Fest

    • Downtown Washington Arts & Crafts Fair

    • United Way Events

    • Washington Fair Parade

    • Washington Holiday of Lights Parade.

  • All events are dependent on funds and volunteers.

One-Time Service Project

  • These volunteers may contact Buddies Not Bullies directly to develop an individual project that is to be completed on their own. Such examples could be a garage sale, bake sale, silent auction, etc.

**Volunteers under 18 require Parent/Guardian Consent**
